About

Peau Sauvage

Peau Sauvage was born from a deeply personal journey.

I’m Roberta Terry, founder and photographer behind Peau Sauvage. What began as my own path toward healing and self-acceptance naturally evolved into a space where others could reconnect with their bodies and see themselves with kindness.

After years of struggling with an eating disorder, I was left with a simple but powerful question:

Why are we so harsh on ourselves?

Through photography, I discovered a way to challenge that inner voice. To slow down. To look closer. To witness beauty exactly as it exists — unfiltered, diverse, and human.

At Peau Sauvage, each session is an invitation to shift perspective. To move away from judgment and toward self-respect, presence, and confidence. My work is rooted in body positivity, emotional awareness, and the belief that true beauty lives in authenticity — not perfection.

My goal is simple: to create images that help people recognize their worth, reclaim their confidence, and feel proud of who they are.
